Billionaire industrialist Tony Stark created the Mark II armor suit after surviving being imprisoned by terrorists. This was soon followed by the iconic Mark III suit, used to battle Stane and the Iron Monger suit in the climax of the first film, and the upgraded Marks IV, V, and VI armors in the sequel. In Avengers, he went even further with the Mark VII, using the high-tech armor to battle the Chitauri army. Now, we get a sneak peek at Stark's ultimate powered armor in Iron Man 3: The Mark 42. Similar to the Mark VII, the new version is a sleek machine with overlapping plates and a unique segmented appearance. Iron Man activates by churning up the water beneath him with his repulsors. In the dynamic pose, we catch the superhero leaning back, firing his repulsor beam from his outstretched right hand, and clenching his left hand for a follow-up attack. The Mark 42 is stunning in metallic red and gold, with a subtle new pattern unlike any previous armor. This version also features an incredible LED light in his eyes and arc reactor, with three settings (Off, Always On, and triggered by the built-in sound detector) allowing you to choose how and when Iron Man activates for battle!
